Pr.Dr. Emrah ARSLAN

Adana,Turkey. Following a 6-year training, he has been a board
eligible Plastic Surgeon in 1999.
His academic career started in Mersin University in the year of 2000 as an
Assistant Professor Doctor. During his academic and medical works, he was
selected as a research fellow by ‘The Cleveland Clinic’ in Cleveland, Ohio,
USA. During his research of more than 1 year, he mainly focused and work in
the field of Microsurgery, and proudly was one of the first fellows working in
‘face transplantations in rats’. This research opened an era in front of the
clinicians and thereafter first successful face transplantations in humans
started.
His research studies also included management if nerve injuries, bone
transplantations, scull injuries and so many more.
In 2005, he was found eligible as an Associated Professor Doctor in Plastic
Surgery.
In 2009, he was transferred to Onsekiz Mart University in Canakkale to
establish the Plastic Surgery Clinic. In 2010, he has been signed a Professor
Doctor in Plastic Surgery. In 2012, he worked with Dr Ozan Sozer in El Paso
Texas, USA for 3 months, and gained excessive experience about body and
face procedures. He worked 12 more years in Canakkale, and finally ceased
his academic works in 2021. From then on, he has started his private practice
in his own clinic in Istanbul.
In spite of his beloved practice focuses in face operations such as face lift,
endoscopic face procedures, rhinoplasty and the others, he is working in all
areas of Plastic Surgery such as body reshaping, and breast works.
He has more than 50 academic articles published in several prestigious
international journals.
